Think about everything you've done: the positions you've held, the projects you've worked on, the problems you've solved, and the responsibilities you picked up along the way.
Now think about how much of it fits on your resume. Five years at one company might come down to five or six bullet points, picked because they suited the job you were after then.
A different job might want something that never made it onto the page. That isn't a mistake on your part. Resumes are selective by design.
How it works

Ryger can't check what you tell it, so it only uses what's in your resume and what you've added yourself.
Why not just ask an AI to rewrite your resume?

Do I have to fill anything out before I start?
No. Upload your resume and add a job. Ryger only asks about what that job needs, and answering is up to you.
What if I don't have the experience a job asks for?
Choose “Not something I've done” and it stays off your resume. Some jobs aren't a good match, and the fit check will say so.
Will Ryger make things up?
It's built not to. Your resume is written from your resume and what you've added. When Ryger only sees something related, it labels it that way instead of presenting it as the real thing.
Does adding experience change my fit score?
Not on its own. After you add something, you can re-check the fit to see how the job looks with it.
Will everything I add appear on my resume?
Not always. Ryger uses what's most relevant to each job, so something you add may appear on one resume and not another. It stays in your Career Story either way.
What is a Career Story?
Your own description of your work, plus everything you add from a job's questions, organized by position. Ryger keeps it, and you can read and edit it whenever you like.
I don't have a resume file.
You can describe your jobs in your own words instead, and Ryger builds from that. Adding experience from a job's questions currently needs an uploaded resume, because each answer is filed under one of your dated positions.
Who sees my information?
Employers don't see your profile unless you turn on Recruiter Discovery.
